We provide services that promote healthy living
Our Clinic is one of few community health clinics operating in the province of Nova Scotia. We are not governed by the Nova Scotia Health Authority, but instead our clinic is run by a group of volunteer board members from the community. This means that we maintain and enhance health and wellness in our community by providing health services as identified by the community of Bear River and the surrounding area.
For 30 years we have provided services that promote healthy living. Currently we offer appointments with our Nurse Practitioner, virtual care, Registered Massage Therapy, electrolysis, foot care and orthotics, Registered Counselling Therapy, homeopathy and osteopathy. We also have administrative staff to answer all your questions and help you get the services you need
We also regularly offer events, programs and workshops that support healthy living. Some of our programs include chair yoga, first aid and CPR certification, cancer support, and Senior’s Day, a recurring monthly event that happens on the second Wednesday of each month to promote socialization and combat isolation in our rural communities
